If you have a "Qualifying Basement", you can add another 15% or 525 s.f. under the Basement Exemption. A Qualifying Basement is one in which 50% of the exterior walls of the basement are 100% below ground level. The definition from Ordinance No. 04 Series of 2013 of Basement or Basement Space means any one floor level of a building located in a manner that at least fifty percent (50%) of its floor to ceiling height for each of surrounding walls is subgrade area below-grade.
